Easy way to make a difference

Note from a prior meeting - you can recycle styrofoam #6 at Agilyx which is located at 13240 SW Wall Street, Tigard, OR 97223. They are located just off Hunziker past the Potso Dog Park. There are two bins open 24 hours a day to leave styrofoam.

Work for climate change

The Democratic Party of Oregon environmental caucus is actively working on a number of important projects  Here is a letter listing ways you can get involved
Dear friends:

The environmental Caucus of the Oregon Democratic Party is very active on Climate Change.  Please let us know if you’d like to participate in any of the following actions/committees.

  1. Forest Work group:  Clearcuts are one of the leading cause of carbon emissions in the state.  They also severely harm water quality and quantity.  We have a forest work group working with a coalition in the state to change forest management policy.  Please call or email Catherine Thomasson if you are interested. (see below)
  2. We have created a Green New Deal Committee—Looking for interested folks.
  3. One of the first actions of the GND committee is to take action on the Governors Climate Executive Order.

In solidarity,

Catherine Thomasson
