We've voted....what happens now?

Thursday, November 5 at  7 pm on Zoom

Meet our TTSD Board candidates April 1 2021

After a year of upheaval, schools face multiple challenges  in the future.  Join us as we hear from Democratic candidates for Tigard Tualatin School Board about how they might navigate these waters. Marvin Lynn, Tristan Irvin, and David Jaimes have all been endorsed by the Washington County Democrats Central Committee and will appear on the slate cards we distribute before the election.  The meeting will start at 7 pm on April 1 on zoom.

We will also get a chance to meet Laurie Cremona Wagner who is running for Position 1 on the PCC board.  She is also endorsed by the WashCo Dems.

Turnout for the off-year special district election in HD37 was under 19% two years ago.  We need to change that.  Please think about becoming a neighborhood leader. Voter turnout in NL turfs was greater than 40% in HD37 in that same race. Another important  step is to know our candidates so we can speak out for them.

As always, East Washington County Dems is open to anyone who wants to learn, share, and find ways to make the world move forward for all.  We will go online at 6:30 for anyone who wishes a social time before the program.  Drop in when you can.

What will we know by November 5?

We’ve phoned, texted, postcarded, lettered, watched countless pundits and waited with held breath to see what happens in this election year. Join us on November 5 on Zoom to get updates on the latest election news and to hear several takes on what it means for the future. Hopefully, this will be a celebratory gathering. It is good to gather virtually with like minded people to reflect on our shared labor and our hopes for the future.

Professor Jim Moore from Pacific University, a noted political analyst and great speaker will join us to untangle what has happened and what the future holds.

Bring your questions, stories about campaigning, and readiness to move forward after a brief time of recovery.
