Eitan Hersh - Politics is for Power - June 2021

Eitan Hersh, a professor at Tufts, author, and researcher has gained national attention by pointing out that, to most people, being involved in politics means watching MSNBC and other passive activities.  In his book Politics is for Power he calls on people to get involved in their elections and neighborhoods in order to make a real difference.  One of his chapters is devoted to the Oregon Neighborhood Leader program as an example of how we can do this.  Watch the meeting here - a powerful endorsement of the kind of outreach we do in our Oregon Neighborhood Leader Program
