In April East Washington County Dems joined with WashCo HD35, Marion County Dems and others to sponsor a forum for Democratic CD6 candidates. This new congressional district includes Tualatin, Tigard, Sherwood, King City and parts of Beaverton that used to have Suzanne Bonamici as our Congressional Representative. We heard from 7 Democratic candidates for this position.  It was a good chance to hear from those running in this complex and nationally followed race. 

The forum was moderated by Dr. Edwin Dover  (https://wou.edu/publicpolicy/profile/edwin-d-dover/) who has taught Political Science at WOU.  His scholarship focuses on American presidential elections and includes six published books and various papers dealing with voting patterns, news coverage, television advertising, and electoral disputes involving the elections from 1960 to 2012.
